By accessing or playing RoadTax, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the game.
2. Description of Service
RoadTax is a free, browser-based hex strategy game. The game allows local single-player matches against AI bots and multiplayer sessions via WebSocket connections. No account registration is required.
3. User Conduct
When using RoadTax, you agree to:
- Use a respectful player name in multiplayer sessions.
- Not attempt to disrupt, exploit, or abuse the multiplayer infrastructure.
- Not use automated tools or scripts to gain unfair advantages in multiplayer games.
- Not impersonate other players or engage in harassment.
4. Intellectual Property
The RoadTax game, including its source code, design, artwork, and documentation, is the intellectual property of the RoadTax team. You may play the game freely but may not redistribute, modify, or commercially exploit it without permission.
5. Availability
RoadTax is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee that the game will be available at all times, free of bugs, or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
6. Multiplayer Sessions
Multiplayer game rooms are temporary and may be cleared at any time. Game state is not persisted between sessions. We are not responsible for connection interruptions, disconnections, or data loss during gameplay.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the RoadTax team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. RoadTax is a free entertainment product with no warranties of any kind.
8. Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RoadTax after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the RoadTax team operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
