• Player Name — A display name you optionally enter when joining a multiplayer room. This is not stored permanently and is only visible to other players in your current session.
• Game Session Data — Board configurations, moves, and game state are exchanged between players during multiplayer sessions. This data is transient and is not stored after the session ends.
• Connection Metadata — Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) may be recorded by the hosting infrastructure for operational and security purposes.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require or store email addresses, passwords, or account credentials.
• We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
• We do not collect payment information — RoadTax is free to play.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

4. Local Storage

RoadTax may use your browser's local storage to remember user preferences (such as your last-used player name). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. Multiplayer Connections

When you join a multiplayer room, a WebSocket connection is established to coordinate game state. Your player name and in-game actions are shared with other players in the same room. No other personal information is transmitted.

6. Third-Party Services

RoadTax uses Google Fonts to load the Public Sans typeface. Google's privacy policy applies to font delivery. No other third-party services are integrated.

7. Children's Privacy

RoadTax does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no account or personal data is required to play, the game is suitable for all ages.
